Before you write

Check Contacts permission in System Settings or Settings, and check whether the contact’s account can be edited. If you can, try the same action with Sample Contacts. Please do not send real names, addresses, phone numbers, Notes, vCards, or screenshots with personal data unless we ask for them and they are redacted.

Notes

Notes need a current app version, Contacts permission, and an account that provides the Notes field. A visible contact can still be read-only.

Synchronization

iCloud, Google, Exchange, and CardDAV synchronization is managed by the operating system and your provider. Check the same contact in Apple Contacts and in your account settings.

Undo and recovery

Merge Studio keeps an encrypted recovery record on your device for up to 30 days; use Merge History to undo a merge. Deleted contacts can be restored by importing the vCard backup you saved before deleting.

Purchases and refunds

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store account used for the purchase.
