Before writing

• Confirm Contacts permission in System Settings or Settings.
• Check whether the contact’s owning account is writable.
• Try the same action with a fictional Sample Contact when possible.
• Do not send real contact names, addresses, phone numbers, Notes, vCards, or screenshots containing personal data unless specifically requested and safely redacted.

Notes availability

Notes require a supported app version, Apple’s managed Notes capability, Contacts permission, and an account that exposes the field. A visible card can still be read-only.

Sync questions

iCloud, Google, Exchange, and CardDAV synchronization is managed by the operating system and provider. Verify sync in Apple Contacts and the relevant account settings.

Refunds and purchases

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store account used for the transaction.
